Registration to the 19th EEBIOMASS Online Webinar

Trees on Earth plays a crucial role in mitigating anthropogenic climate change by sequestering carbon. Recent advancements in high-resolution satellite imagery, combined with advanced machine/deep learning techniques, offer promising ways for forest mapping, monitoring, and carbon counting.

The 19th of EEBIOMASS online workshop will focus on the "BIOMASS mission Calibration & Validation (Cal/Val) Activities".

Now that BIOMASS is products are becoming available, they need to be calibrated and validated. This webinar will introduce you to a variety of BIOMASS Cal/Val activities:

 (1) The forest-focused session highlights projects examining above-ground biomass, 3D structure, and canopy height across diverse global biomes.

(2) In the second session we look beyond the trees covering technical calibration, Ionospheric Corrections, and Secondary Mission Objectives.
